My connection to the aviation industry began in 1999 with my first job – following my training as a survey technician – at what was then Flight Inspection International. It felt – in a positive sense- like an incredible experience, as I was able to travel to so many countries and work directly at airports as a survey technician.

In later years, while studying online media, I worked at Lufthansa on several occasions; I can only say that the time spent there and my relationship with my aviation colleagues were absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, there was a hiring freeze at the time, so I couldn’t stay on.
A real highlight was getting to fly in the cockpit of a 747. A huge thank you once again to Ilja and Cisco! 😉
Today, I am the proud owner of my own flight simulator and – whenever a real-life flight opportunity isn’t available – can fly to any place in the world, at least virtually 🙂 A PPL is also a genuine option if it offers professional value. Time will tell!

In my private life, photography is my great passion—both digital and print. I have successfully participated in international competitions, which has been a vital experience; you encounter fierce competition and very high standards there, yet it remains enjoyable.
